If you’re looking for a great multi-department grocery store, you’ve found it at Fry’s Marketplace. The store is conveniently open 24 hours a day, features a sushi section, has a New York deli, and offers an incredible cheese section. You’ll love the ambiance and its selection of frozen meals, too. The location and layout make it a great place for people on a hectic schedule.
Fry’s Marketplace is a multi-department store
The concept of a multi-department store is not new. In fact, Fry’s has operated under the Fry’s Marketplace banner for several years now. It began as a smaller version of Fred Meyer’s grocery chain and has since expanded to Kroger’s Columbus, Ohio Division, and Smith Food & Drug Centers in Utah. One of its most prominent features is a food court featuring fresh salads, sandwiches, and soups.
The first store, Fry’s Marketplace, opened in Phoenix, Arizona, in October 2014. It will feature a Starbucks Coffee Shop, Murray’s Cheese Stores, and home goods. The stores are about 124,000 square feet and will have several other amenities such as a sushi bar, salad bar, and soup bar. A Fry’s Marketplace store will have an outdoor patio and will feature seating for two to five hundred customers.
It will be open 24 hours a day
One of the things New Yorkers take for granted is the subway system. Only Tropical Storm Irene forced the system to shut down last fall. This fall, the system will remain open 24 hours a day. And it will be even more accessible. In addition to a 24-hour operation, the station will also be free of charge. If you’re planning a trip to the city, make sure to make time for the subway.
It will have a fuel center
Fry’s Marketplace is coming to the southwest corner of Jomax Road and Norterra Parkway. Site work began on the 109,000-square-foot grocery store in mid-July. It is the closest store to the I-17 freeway and Dove Valley. The store will fill a need in the fast-growing Union Park at Norterra. Developer Red Development is developing the 12-acre site.
The six new stores will be located in Maricopa County. All six Marketplace stores will include fuel centers. They will also have Starbucks, Murray’s Cheese Store, wine/beer tastings, and indoor seating. In addition to the grocery store, there will be a salad and soup bar, Starbucks, and a pharmacy drive-up window. The Tucson location will also feature a Fry’s Market.
It will have a pharmacy
The multi-department store concept Fry’s Marketplace is a cross between a full-service grocery and a pharmacy. The concept will be offered in stores that are between 80,000 and 105,000 square feet. It will feature a drive-through pharmacy and an adjacent fuel center. The stores will also include a Starbucks and a Murray’s Cheese Store. There will also be an indoor seating. The Tucson location will have a Starbucks, salad bar, soup bar, and a pharmacy with a drive-up window.
